The primary domain is philippstrueby.com. The Swiss domain philippstrueby.ch redirects to the .com site. Both are covered by this notice.

What data is collected

Server access logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) are processed by the hosting provider Vercel to run and secure the site. Logs are retained for a short period and then discarded.

If you subscribe through the footer newsletter form, your email address is sent to Loops.so and stored there so I can send the newsletter. Loops also receives a source label (this website) and a newsletter group. A hidden honeypot field on the form is never stored for real subscriptions. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

On the Services page, the booking links ("Book an intro call") open Notion Calendar (calendar.notion.so) in a new tab. If you book a meeting there, Notion processes the details you enter under Notion's own terms and privacy policy. This site does not receive your booking form data.

Contact and social links (email, LinkedIn, Instagram, X) go to those services directly. If you write or follow there, their privacy policies apply.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Tag Manager (GTM-NR8XB3XQ) and Google Analytics 4 (G-VZHZXNNHCG) to understand how visitors use the page. These tools can set cookies and transfer data to Google, including in the United States. Google Consent Mode v2 is enabled. Until you accept the cookie banner, advertising and analytics storage signals stay denied.

Your Accept or Decline choice is stored in your browser under the localStorage key cookie-consent. Clearing that entry and reloading the page shows the banner again.

Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights collect aggregated and pseudonymised page view and performance data. They do not use cookies that identify you personally.

Theme preference

The sun / moon control in the header stores your dark or light theme choice in localStorage under struby-theme. That value stays on your device. It is not sent to me or to analytics as personal data.

Legal basis

Processing is based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) EU GDPR, Art. 31(1) Swiss FADP) for analytics and marketing, on the performance of a service for the newsletter, and on legitimate interest for the secure operation of the website. Theme preference is stored locally at your request and does not leave your browser.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. Send any request to philipp@philippstrueby.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with your local data protection authority.

Data transfers

Some service providers (Vercel, Loops.so, Google, and Notion if you book a meeting) process data outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the United States. They rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for international transfers where applicable.
